Ethics for expanded states of consciousness
I consider the heart of ethical facilitation to lie in the deep sense of responsibility I bring to my sessions.
I believe in informed consent, participants should be fully aware of the nature & type of experiences they are likely to have and make an informed decision if now is the time for them to begin exploration through this practice.
Safety is priority, this means physical and psychological. Whether the session is online or in person I am available to provide support during and after the session. Confidentiality is a requirement of participating and contributes to a safe and respectful space for everyone to freely explore.
Neurodynamic breathwork is a non-directive experience, where you are guided by your own inner guiding intelligence. Your journey remains uniquely your own, without external influences. This approach honours the capacity within each individual and encourages personal empowerment.
As a facilitator having experienced expanded states of consciousness through yoga, reiki, plant medicine and breath work along with having held space for others taking their journey. I am well-versed in the potential experiences, effects, contraindications, and the art of navigating challenging moments.
